Quarterly Journal of Fundamental and Applied Studies of the Islamic World is an open access double-blind peer-reviewed publication which is published by the Iranian Association of Geopolitics and Center of Islamic World Futures Studies (CIWFS). This journal is a quarterly publication, that publishes original and high-quality manuscripts that analyze issues related to International Relations, Political Science, Regional Studies, Future Studies, Middle East, Geopolitics, and Islamic World Studies. This journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards following ethical laws. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity to ensure their authenticity and then rigorously peer-reviewed by expert reviewers.

Article Processing Charges

Publishing an article in this journal requires an Article Processing Charge (APC):

  • Authors from Iran: 12.000.0000 I.R. Rials
  • Authors from other countries: 100 $ for each accepted paper

Subscription Fee

The Quarterly Journal of Fundamental and Applied Studies of the Islamic World is published as an open-access electronic journal, so there is no subscription fee for audiences.

The Quarterly Journal of Fundamental and Applied Studies of the Islamic World is published 4 issues per year. All the content from the beginning to the end will be available forever on the journal's exclusive website.

 

 

Plagiarism Detection Policy 

  • Plagiarism is intentionally using someone else’s ideas or other original material as if they are one's own. Copying even one sentence from someone else’s manuscript, or even one of your own that has previously been published, without proper citation, is considered by this journal as plagiarism.
  • All manuscripts under review or published with The Quarterly Journal of Fundamental and Applied Studies of the Islamic World are subject to screening using plagiarism prevention software (Samim Noor/Hamanandjoo for Persian articles and iThenticate for English articles). The authors are expected to check their manuscripts for plagiarism before submission.
  • If plagiarism is detected during peer review, the submission can be rejected. If plagiarism is detected after publication we reserve the right, as necessary, to issue a correction or retract the article. We reserve the right to notify the institutions of authors about the plagiarism that was found before or after publication.

The Journal of Fundamental and Applied Studies of the Islamic World is affiliated with the Iranian Association of Geopolitics and Center of Islamic World Futures Studies (CIWFS) which is a nonprofit political institute whose aim is to strengthen the effective trends and drivers for making better future for the Islamic world within the framework of undisputed power bloc of the world through bolstering convergence and alliance among the Islamic countries. The institute was founded in 2009 as a leading institute in the I.R. Iran in the field of cultural, artistic, political, economic, and international Islamic world studies. This quarterly is a stage for publishing in-depth, up-to-date, and first-rate scientific research on the fundamental and practical issues of the Islamic world in various political, security, economic, cultural, and social fields.

This journal publishes under the publishing license No. 85738 on 16/09/2019 according to Article 13 of the Press Law.
