Review Policy and Guidelines – Quarterly Journal of Fundamental and Applied Studies of the Islamic World

Review Policy

This journal employs a Double-Blind Peer Review process. In this system, the identities of authors remain undisclosed to reviewers, and the identities of reviewers remain undisclosed to authors. This approach is intended to minimize bias and ensure impartial evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

Ethical Considerations for Reviewers

  • Do not include your name or any identifying information in comments addressed to the author.
  • Report any instances of academic misconduct—such as plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, or simultaneous submission to another journal—immediately to the Editor-in-Chief.
  • All manuscript content and data are strictly confidential and must not be used or disclosed prior to publication.

 

Review Process and Steps

  1. Log in to your personal account using your username and password.
  2. In the “User Role” section, select Reviewer to access the review panel.
  3. Click on the manuscript code to view details and download the main file.
  4. Provide feedback in the designated sections:
    • Comments to the Editor (confidential)
    • Comments to the Author (anonymous)
  5. Complete the general evaluation form and assign scores to the manuscript.
  6. Finally, select the appropriate recommendation—Accept, Revise, or Reject—and submit your review.
